JENIN: A Palestinian man was brutally assaulted by Israeli colonists this evening outside the colonial Israeli outpost of Homesh, located south of Jenin in the northern occupied West Bank, according to local sources. Imad Khalil Alawneh, 50, a resident of the town of Jaba', reported to WAFA that he was savagely beaten and mistreated by several Israeli colonists, who forced him to strip his clothes while he was in a mountainous area on the outskirts of the town. He added that the colonists detained him for approximately two hours before transferring him to the nearby Homesh outpost, where they subsequently handed him over to the Israeli occupation army. There, he was detained for an additional four hours, blindfolded and handcuffed. Alawneh was released in the night hours and was transported to Jenin Government Hospital, where he was treated for bruises across his body. Source: Palestine News and Information Agency – WAFA
