BETHEHEM: Israeli colonists today attacked a Palestinian family in the village of Kisan, east of Bethlehem, and seized several sheep, a vehicle, and an agricultural tractor. The head of the Kisan Village Council, Musa Abayat, said that a group of colonists from the illegal colony of Maale Amos, built on stolen Palestinian land near the village, attacked a house owned by local resident Ibrahim Sawarka and seized around 40 of sheep, a vehicle, and an agricultural tractor. Abayat added that the occupation forces had detained Sawarka in the morning hours after raiding his house. The occupation soldiers yesterday evening assaulted Sawarka's wife and left her with bruises. Sawarka's wife is currently in the hospital after being injured as a result of the colonists' assault on her, noting that his children are still trapped in the house.
