HEBRON: Israeli colonists launched a series of attacks on Palestinian homes in the old city of Hebron last night, targeting properties in the Jaber and Wadi al-Hasin neighborhoods, according to local sources. In a separate incident, colonists uprooted over 20 olive saplings belonging to Khader Attieh, a local paramedic, in the Masafer Yatta region, south of Hebron. This attack on agricultural land further exacerbates tensions in the region, as olive trees are a crucial source of livelihood for many Palestinian families. Terror attacks by Israeli settler militias are a common feature of the daily life under colonial settler occupation, but have seen exponential growth in recent months with the rise of ultranationalist fascism in Israel's government coalition.
