Three members of the Lebanese Civil Defense were martyred in an Israeli drone strike on a civil defense vehicle in the southern Lebanese town of Faroun, while they were extinguishing fires that broke out in the town as a result of Israeli airstrikes, and a fourth member was seriously injured in the attack. Two members of the Civil Defense in the town of Qabrikha were also injured in an Israeli artillery shelling on an ambulance. Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati condemned the Israeli aggression against civil defense personnel while they were carrying out their duty, stressing that this attack constitutes a flagrant violation of international laws and a blatant aggression against human values. He said that this is no stranger to the Israeli enemy, as we witness its successive crimes on Lebanese areas and in the Palestinian territories as well.
