Khan Yunis: Several civilians, including children, lost their lives early Monday morning following airstrikes by Israeli occupation forces on a tent sheltering displaced individuals in Khan Yunis, located in the southern Gaza Strip.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency – WAFA, medical sources confirmed that a man, his wife, and their two children were among those killed in the attack on a tent in the Al-Mawasi area, west of Khan Yunis. Additionally, the family’s daughter sustained serious injuries. The artillery of the occupation army also targeted other areas, including the Al-Midan area in the Beit Lahia project, north of the Gaza Strip, as well as regions in the south and west of Gaza City, and the northern and western areas of Rafah, situated in the southern part of the Strip.
Further reports indicate that the occupation forces demolished residential buildings around Street 8 in the Al-Zeitoun neighborhood, located in the southern part of Gaza City. The ongoing aggression by the occupatio
n forces on the Gaza Strip, which began on October 7, 2023, has resulted in the deaths of 43,846 citizens, with the majority being women and children, and injuries to 103,740 others.
