Gaza: A total of 12 Palestinian civilians were killed and others were injured in Israeli airstrikes targeting areas across the Gaza Strip. Among the casualties were children and women, as attacks focused on regions such as the vicinity of Al-Barakah Mosque in Beit Lahia, Gaza City, and Khan Yunis. Since dawn, the reported death toll has risen to more than 32.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, eight individuals lost their lives in an airstrike near Abu Mazen Roundabout and the Al-Ghafri Junction in Gaza City. Several casualties were also reported following an Israeli airstrike near Al-Shafi'i Mosque in the city. In Beit Lahia, one civilian was killed in an artillery attack near Al-Barakah Mosque, alongside others who were injured in an airstrike on a tent housing displaced persons west of Gaza City.
Israeli warplanes carried out additional airstrikes targeting the eastern part of the Al-Tuffah neighborhood in Gaza City. In the context of these ongoing attacks, health sources announced that 32 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli airstrikes on the Gaza Strip since dawn, with 26 deaths reported in Gaza City and the northern region.
According to the latest statistics from the Ministry of Health, the death toll from the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip has reached 52,314, with nearly 117,792 reported wounded since October 7, 2023. Thousands of victims remain under the rubble and in the streets, complicating rescue and recovery efforts.
