Beirut: Israeli airstrikes and tanks Saturday hit Lebanese border towns, according to a military official. A Lebanese military source said the towns of Mays al-Jabal, Ain Baal al-Hush, al-Qalilah, al-Ma'alia, and al-Khiam were hit by a series of Israeli warplane strikes. He added that the towns of Aita al-Shaab, Wadi Hassan, and the outskirts of al-Jebeen were subjected to violent Israeli artillery shelling.
