Gaza City: An Israeli airstrike on the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood of Gaza City on Wednesday evening resulted in the death of 10 Palestinians, as reported by local sources. The attack, which targeted a house belonging to the ad-Dalu family, not only claimed lives but also left several others injured. According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Israel has continued its military operations in Gaza despite a legally binding decision from the International Court of Justice (ICJ). The ICJ had ordered Israel to halt its offensive in Rafah, citing potential violations of its obligations under the Genocide Convention. Since the onset of hostilities on October 7, the conflict has led to the deaths of at least 44,532 Palestinians and has injured 105,538 others. The humanitarian crisis has been exacerbated by the fact that at least 10,000 individuals remain unaccounted for, believed to be trapped under the debris of their homes across the Strip. Palestinian and international organizations have voiced con cerns, highlighting that the majority of the casualties are women and children. The ongoing Israeli aggression has also triggered the mass displacement of nearly two million people from various parts of the Gaza Strip. Most of the displaced have been forced to relocate to the densely populated southern city of Rafah, near the border with Egypt. This movement marks the largest mass exodus Palestine has witnessed since the Nakba in 1948.
