Israeli Airstrike on Gaza City Results in Multiple Fatalities.

Gaza City: An Israeli airstrike on Gaza City Tuesday evening resulted in the deaths of five Palestinians and injuries to several others. A WAFA correspondent reported that an Israeli fighter jet targeted a house belonging to the al-Khor family in the Sabra neighborhood, located south of the city, leading to the tragic loss of civilian lives and multiple injuries. According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, further Israeli aircraft activity targeted another house near Al-Sousi Mosque in Beach Camp, west of Gaza City. This strike also caused multiple fatalities and injuries among the local population. The ongoing Israeli military operations in Gaza continue despite a legally binding order from the International Court of Justice (ICJ) directing Israel to cease its military offensive in Rafah, raising concerns about potential violations of the Genocide Convention. Since October 7, Israel's military campaign in the region has resulted in at least 44,502 Palestinian deaths and 105,454 injuries. Add itionally, over 10,000 individuals are currently missing, feared to be trapped beneath the rubble of their homes throughout Gaza. Reports from Palestinian and international organizations indicate that women and children comprise the majority of those affected by the violence. The conflict has also led to the displacement of nearly two million people from across the Gaza Strip. Most of the displaced have been forced into Rafah, a densely populated southern city near the Egyptian border. This situation is being described as the largest mass exodus in Palestinian history since the Nakba of 1948.
