Gaza city: Three civilians were killed on Thursday evening in an Israeli airstrike targeting a group of civilians in the Al-Sabra neighborhood, south of Gaza City.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Israeli warplanes struck a gathering of civilians in Al-Sabra, resulting in the killing of three people. The incident further escalates the ongoing conflict in the region.
Earlier in the day, Israeli artillery shelled the eastern area of the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood, leading to the death of a young girl and injuring several others, including children. This highlights the severe impact on civilians caught in the crossfire.
Since dawn, Israeli forces have killed 12 civilians, including five aid seekers, in Gaza City and Khan Yunis. The continuous violence has led to significant casualties among the civilian population.
The death toll from the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, has risen to 62,192. At least 157,114 others have also been injured. The situation remains dire as many victims are still trapped under rubble, inaccessible to ambulance and rescue crews.
