Israel killed 10,000 Palestinian students since October 7

10,043 Palestinian students were killed and 16,423 were injured since the beginning of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip and the West Bank last October 7, Palestinian Ministry of Education and Higher Education announced. In a statement on Tuesday, the ministry said over 9,936 students were killed in Gaza since the beginning of the Israeli aggression, while 15,897 others were injured. The ministry added that 107 students were killed in the West Bank and 526 others were injured, while 390 were arrested during the same period. Furthermore, the ministry indicated that 504 teachers and administrators were killed and 3,426 others were injured in Gaza and West Bank, and over 117 were arrested in West Bank. 119 government schools in Gaza were severely damaged, and more than 62 schools were completely destroyed, while 191 government and UNRWA schools were bombed, the ministry pointed out. The ministry stated that 20 universities were severely damaged, while more than 31 university buildings were completely flattened and 57 partially destroyed. In the West Bank, 69 schools were vandalized, and 5 universities were repeatedly raided, vandalized, and their contents tampered with since the beginning of the aggression.
