RAMALLAH: The number of Palestinians detainees among citizens from the West Bank has risen to more than 6,920 since October 7, 2023, according to a statement by the Palestinian Prisoner's Society (PPS.) The statement said that this number includes those who were detained from homes, through military checkpoints, those who were forced to surrender themselves under pressure, as well as those who were held hostage, within the framework of the comprehensive aggression against the Palestinian people, and the ongoing genocide in Gaza, which targeted children, women, the elderly and the sick.
