Beirut, Israel continued its assaults on Friday on villages and towns in the southern Lebanon, with field sources in Beirut reporting that Israel's fighter jets hit the heights of Jabal Al-Rayhan and pounded the perimeter of the town square in Markaba. Moreover, Israeli army fired phosphorus munitions and artillery shells into the town of Rashaya al-Fakhar, resulting in a fire breaking out at the targeted location. Israel continues to mount escalation on towns and villages of southern Lebanon, concurrently with its relentless and dastardly aggression on the Gaza Strip, since Oct.7, 2023, which resulted in civilian casualties and forcing hundreds of families to flee their homes.
