SALFIT: Israeli occupation forces delivered six demolition notices today to residents of Rafat, a village located in the occupied West Bank province of Salfit. According to Shafi Shehadeh, the head of the village council, the notices were served to a commercial establishment, three inhabited homes, a stone-cutting factory, and a building materials shop. This latest action follows a similar set of notices delivered a few days earlier, which targeted a local sports field, several homes under construction, and other inhabited residences. The ongoing issuance of these notices continues to raise concerns among local residents about the future of building and development in the area. Israeli occupation authorities frequently demolish homes of Palestinians in Area C of the West Bank, under full Israeli control, under the pretext of construction without Israeli permission.
