Amman: Israeli warplanes and drones carried out violent airstrikes on Tuesday evening on the towns of Yarin, Aita al-Shaab, Maroun al-Ras and Jabin in southern Lebanon, according to Petra's correspondent in Beirut. "The airstrikes led to the destruction of a number of houses without recording casualties, while Israeli warplanes carried out mock airstrikes over the Naqoura coast, and flew at low altitude over the western sector and Jezzine up to the city of Tyre," he added. He pointed to "Israeli artillery shelling on the areas of Halta, Kafr Hamam and Kafr Shuba, while the Watta al-Khiam area was shelled with phosphorus shells." Source: Jordan News Agency
