Gaza - Ma'an - Hamas mourned the death of Sharif Abu al-Amin, the movement's leader in Lebanon and a member of the leadership abroad, following an Israeli raid on the al-Bass camp in southern Lebanon. Abu Al-Amin and his family were martyred in an assassination attempt in an airstrike on his home in Al-Bass camp. Hamas said in a statement, "With all meanings of patience, pride and honor, we mourn to the masses of our Palestinian people, and our Arab and Islamic nation, the martyr leader Fatah Sharif Abu al-Amin, leader of the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas in Lebanon and member of the movement's leadership abroad, a martyr on the road to Jerusalem, and in the shadow of the epic of the flood of al-Aqsa, and his wife, the martyr educator Umayya Ibrahim Abdul Hamid, and his two sons, the martyr Amin and the martyr Wafaa."
