The meeting endorsed the development of protocols for managing rejected products in customs warehouses, including options for destruction or re-exportation. Dr. Margham commended the collaborative efforts of all agencies and emphasized the need for ongoing improvements in operational efficiency and procedural simplicity. The Director of Afar Customs Center provided updates on current customs operations and procedural facilitation. Attendees, including deputy directors and d epartment heads from the Standards Authority and related branches, reviewed progress and discussed mechanisms for enhanced inspection and control of shipments.
