London: Irish Foreign Minister Michael Martin said Tuesday his country supports sanctions on violent Jewish settlers in the occupied West Bank. "Ireland favors sanctions on violent settlers in the West Bank. We regret that unity and unanimity still hasn't occurred within the Foreign Affairs Council to date," he said ahead of a meeting of EU foreign ministers. Martin also said the world is "shocked at the level of inhumanity" in the Gaza Strip, and described the life of ordinary people there as "hell on earth." Source: Jordan News Agency
