The Iraqi security forces apprehended two members of ISIS group, on Wednesday, in Kirkuk Governorate, north of the country, and Baghdad. Iraqi General Security Directorate (GSD) reported, in a statement, that its special intelligence tasks unit had succeeded in busting a member of ISIS remnants in Kirkuk. It pointed out that this member was one of the most wanted targets to GSD, against whom an arrest warrant had been issued. In addition, Baghdad Operations Command announced that it had arrested another ISIS member in Dora area, south of Baghdad, highlighting that the arrest operation came after information confirmed his presence and movements within the area of responsibility near Karkh. Iraqi security forces still embark on pursuing ISIS remnants across the country, and occasionally declare the apprehension of its members. Source: Qatar News Agency
