Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shi'a Al Sudani warned Sunday of a dangerous slippery slope that could drag the region and the world into continuous wars and shake the global economy. "As one year passes since the outbreak of the events of October 7, 2023, and the continuation of the aggression against Gaza, its extension to Lebanon, and the threat to the entire region, Iraq recalls its early position, in which it warned of the consequences of the Israeli occupation's attempt to expand the war and conflict, and the consequences of letting it persist in committing crimes, amid the international community's inability to do its part," Al-Sudani said in a statement.
