Iraqi Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein discussed, in a phone call Monday, with his British counterpart David Lammy the regional and international situations, and the need to de-escalate the situation in the region, especially in the Gaza Strip and Lebanon. The two sides discussed during the call the importance of the international community playing its role in achieving a ceasefire in Gaza and Lebanon, and protecting civilians in light of the escalation of military operations in the region. They also discussed bilateral relations and ways to develop them in various fields, in addition to discussing the issue of Iraqis residing illegally in the United Kingdom. Source: Qatar News Agency
