Iraqi Ambassador to the Sultanate of Oman Qais Saad Al-Amiri presented his credentials as a non-resident and extraordinary Ambassador of Iraq to Yemen. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated in a statement that "Al-Ameri presented his credentials as a non-resident and extraordinary Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq to Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council of the Republic of Yemen, and to Shaye Al-Zindani, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates. The President welcomed Ambassador Al-Ameri, wishing him success in his duties, stressing the provision of all necessary facilities to enhance cooperation relations between the two countries and brotherly peoples in various fields. For his part, Ambassador Al-Ameri renewed the Iraqi government's position in support of the Yemeni government, expressing his aspiration to make all possible efforts to develop relations between the two brotherly countries.
