Iraq denounces the terrorist bombing in Turkey and confirms its position of rejecting terrorism

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed its strong condemnation and denunciation of the terrorist bombing that occurred today, Sunday, in front of the entrance of the General Directorate of Security of the Turkish Ministry of Interior in the Qizlai region in the center of the Turkish capital, Ankara, and resulted in the injury of two Turkish police officers.

In a statement, the Ministry renewed the solidarity of the government and people of Iraq with the government and people of the Republic of Turkey, and its wishes for a speedy recovery for the injured.

It affirmed Iraq's position of rejecting terrorism in all its forms and forms, and its standing with the international community in confronting terrorism, and supporting all good efforts aimed at eliminating extremism and violence.
