The Foreign Ministry condemned the barbaric Israeli attack that targeted "Al-Tabi'een" school in Al-Daraj neighborhood, east of Gaza, at dawn today. The statement said that these repeated attacks against civilians are a flagrant violation of international norms and conventions, including international law and international humanitarian law, and show the Israeli entity's disregard for international initiatives aimed at stopping the aggression on Gaza. The Foreign Ministry renewed Iraq's full solidarity with the brotherly Palestinian people in their ordeal, stressing the need for the international community, and Islamic countries in particular, to take a firm and unified position to stop these ongoing Israeli crimes and provide immediate protection for the defenseless Palestinian people.
