The Director General of the General Authority for Irrigation and Drainage Projects Operation, Ahmed Kazem Abdullah, met, on the sidelines of his visit to Turkey, Professor Faisal Araoglu, the Special Envoy of the President of the Republic of Turkey for Water Affairs. The Ministry of Water Resources said in a statement, 'Abdullah conveyed the minister's greetings to the special envoy, and provided a technical explanation about the latest developments in the country's water situation in light of the conditions of water scarcity and the importance of cooperation and coordination between the two countries.
