Iran and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) confirmed the safety of the nuclear facilities in Isfahan, after reports that "Tehran responded to a number of small drones with ground-based missiles." The official IRNA news agency reported that field investigations in Isfahan showed that important facilities in the province, especially nuclear facilities, are in complete security and no accidents have been reported there. IRNA pointed out that air defense activity is completely normal and is on 100% alert, and that there have been no reports of the launch of missile defense systems so far. Meanwhile, the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) confirmed that "there is no damage" to Iranian nuclear sites as the United Nations nuclear watchdog's chief Rafael Grossi called for restraint and said nuclear facilities should never be targeted in military conflicts.
