Israeli occupation forces (IOF) have conducted a series of detentions since yesterday evening until Sunday's morning, detaining at least 15 Palestinian civilians from the West Bank, including freed prisoners. In a joint statement, Palestinian Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs and Palestinian Prisoner's Society (PPS) disclosed that the detentions took place in Al-Khalil, Tubas, Ramallah, and Occupied Jerusalem (Al-Quds). IOF also conducted field interrogations with a group of civilians in the town of Silwad, east of Ramallah, most of whom were released later. The statement indicated that ongoing Israeli incursions involve widespread raids, severe beatings, threats against detainees and their families, as well as instances of property destruction and sabotage in civilian homes. According to the statement, since Oct. 7, the number of Palestinians detained by IOF has exceeded 9,550, including those taken from their homes, at military checkpoints, individuals who surrendered under pressure, and those held as hostages.
