The High-Level International Forum on Youth, Peace and Security will start Wednesday in Amman under royal patronage. The forum, sponsored by His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II, will activate UN Resolution 2250 Youth, Peace and Security, which was unanimously adopted by the UN Security Council based on an initiative and project Prince Al Hussein submitted while chairing the open discussion session at the Security Council in 2015 to enhance youth participation in international peace and security. The two-day forum will comprise launching the Arab Strategy for Youth, Peace and Security 2023-2028, which a committee headed by Jordan drafted. The forum will include dialogue sessions on mechanisms to enhance and implement the youth, peace and security agenda and the priorities of member states in developing the strategy's executive plan.
