In line with the comprehensive security plan that was implemented Earlier on Monday, the Ministry of Interior (MoI) arrested several residency law violators and referred them to the concerned authorities ahead of their deportation. Per the instructions of First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Interior and Defense Sheikh Fahad Yusuf Saud Al-Sabah, the ministry implemented the comprehensive security plan across all governates to arrest residency law violators, MoI said in a statement. Undersecretary Lieutenant General Sheikh Salem Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah oversaw the operation, the ministry said, emphasizing on enforcing the law on those who did not take advantage of the grace period and violated the law which ended Sunday. The MoI affirmed its continuity to implement campaigns encouraging citizens to report any violator via the emergency line 112. Source: Kuwait News Agency
