Israeli aircraft launched intensive raids on residential buildings in the southern suburb of Beirut. The Lebanese News Agency reported: "The Israeli raids destroyed a number of residential buildings, and caused great destruction in the middle of residential areas," indicating: "Some buildings were razed to the ground."
