Baghdad, Detachments of the General Directorate of Intelligence and Security seized a company trading in expired medicines and seized counterfeit medicines inside it, in Baghdad. The Directorate stated in a statement, 'With a precise intelligence effort and close field follow-up, the detachments of the Baghdad Intelligence and Security Directorate, in coordination with the National Security Service and a detachment from the Organized Crime Directorate, were able to arrest a pharmaceutical company that trades expired medicines and arrest an accused within the company, In one of the areas of the capital.' It added: 'A fake drug store and laboratory was seized, containing counterfeit medicines, printed boxes prepared for packaging, forged unofficial labels and stickers, and a machine for filling and wrapping medicines.
