Intelligence Directorate takes down a terrorist and a drug dealer in Baghdad

The General Directorate of Intelligence and Security arrested a terrorist and a drug dealer in Baghdad. The Directorate stated in a statement: Based on accurate intelligence information, the detachments of the Baghdad Intelligence and Security Directorate were able to overthrow one of the terrorist elements in one of the areas of the capital. An arrest warrant was issued against him in accordance with the provisions of Article (1/4) of Terrorism, and legal measures were taken against him and he was referred to Judiciary. The statement added that, on the other hand, and through field follow-up of organized crime gangs and narcotic poison dealers, the same directorate's detachments arrested one of the drug dealers in Baghdad, through a controlled ambush carried out by the Directorate's detachments, and a judicial warrant was issued against him in accordance with the provisions of Article (28) of Narcotics.
