The General Directorate of Intelligence and Security announced the arrest of a dangerous ISIS member in Kirkuk and the arrest of (5) drug dealers in Muthanna and Nineveh. The Directorate stated in a statement that: "With intelligence efforts, the Special Intelligence Missions Cell affiliated with the directorate, in coordination with the Kirkuk Intelligence and Security Directorate, was able to overthrow a dangerous terrorist belonging to ISIS gangs in his capacity as the logistical support officer in Kirkuk Governorate, and he is one of the most prominent targets wanted by the directorate, and an arrest warrant was issued against him in accordance with the provisions of Article (1/4) of Terrorism." On the other hand, the General Directorate's detachments arrested (5) drug dealers red-handed in Nineveh and Muthanna governorates, with arrest warrants issued against them in accordance with the provisions of Article 28 of the Narcotics Law.
