The Iraqi National Security Service (INSS) announced the suicide of an ISIS terrorist after he was besieged in Kirkuk Governorate. A statement by the INSS's media stated that: "In continuation of the series of operations of the Iraqi National Security Service in pursuing the remnants of ISIS terrorist gangs and after coordination with the General Directorate of Operations of the Asayish Service of the Kurdistan Region, and through the confessions of one of the terrorists who were previously arrested regarding the presence of a terrorist cell inside Kirkuk Governorate, our detachments were able, after obtaining judicial approvals, to move to the address of the cell and raid it, where an exchange of fire took place between our detachments and a terrorist who was hiding inside." It added that: "The house continued to be besieged and the noose tightened on the terrorist, who works as a (transporter) with the terrorist gangs, which forced him to commit suicide. The clash also resulted in the injury of two of our heroic officers." Source: National Iraqi News Agency
