QALQILYA: Several Palestinians suffocated today following an Israeli military raid into the town of Kafr Qaddoum east of Qalqilya, according to local sources Earlier today, Israeli forces raided the town of Kafr Qaddoum, surrounded the Omar bin Al Khattab Mosque, one of Qalqilya's oldest mosques from which the weekly anti-settlement peaceful march kicks off every week, and prevented citizens' access to it, leading to confrontations. Immediately following the Friday prayers, the occupation attacked worshippers with live bullets, sound bombs and tear gas canisters, which led to the injury of a young man with a bomb that struck him directly in the back. The Israeli forces' heavy firing of sound and tear gas bombs caused the shattering of one of the mosque's windows. The bomb struck and injured one of the worshipers inside the mosque in his back. Dozens of others were treated at the scene from tear gas suffocation. Source: Palestine news & Information Agency - WAFA
