Industry and Trade Ministry confirmed that the ration and price situation is stable , reassuring and that basic foodstuffs are available in local markets in large quantities. A statement issued by the internal trade sector of the ministry, received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), explained that the field committees affiliated with the ministry, its offices in the secretariat of the capital and the provinces, and its branches in the districts, continue daily field visits to the markets to monitor the ration , price conditions, and detect any violations. The statement praised the cooperation and response of all commercial stores to the circulars issued by the Ministry, stressing the importance of all stores' commitment to advertising the prices of all basic food commodities to the consumer. The statement warned against being drawn into rumors about price increases as a result of the Israeli aggression, stressing that the ministry will not tolerate any price violations or attempts at monopoly and will deter anyone proven to be involved in that. In its statement, the Ministry called on citizens to report any price or ration violations on the Ministry's toll-free complaints number 174. Source: Yemen News Agency
