The General Authority for Agricultural Research and Extension, in cooperation with the Bajil Agricultural Cooperative Society, launched work on a preparation project to establish a community seed bank to support farmers in the Bajil district of Hodeida governorate. During the inauguration, a quantity of improved seeds was distributed to 100 farmers in the district, as part of the activities of the Livelihood, Food Security and Adaptation Project.
