The Lebanese Hezbollah announced that it launched a barrage of rockets on northern Israel at dawn on Sunday, in response to an attack that killed three paramedics in southern Lebanon, according to the Lebanese Ministry of Health. The party said in a statement: "In response to the enemy's attacks, especially the attack that targeted medical crews in the town of Fruon in southern Lebanon, which led to the martyrdom and injury of members of the Civil Defense, the Mujahideen of the Islamic Resistance bombed the settlement of Kiryat Shmona with a barrage of Al-Falaq rockets." Three paramedics were killed and two were injured yesterday as a result of Israel "targeting" a Civil Defense team that was working to extinguish fires in southern Lebanon, according to the Lebanese Ministry of Health, amid the ongoing escalation between Hezbollah and Israel.
