The Imam Hussein (PBUH) Host Department at Holy Shrine announced today, Friday, the preparation of the second batch of relief supplies allocated to the Lebanese people. The head of the department, Adnan Qahtan Al-Naqeeb, said in a statement that "according to the directives of the representative of the supreme religious authority, Sheikh Abdul Mahdi Al-Karbalai, and the Secretary-General of Imam Hussein Holy Shrine, Hassan Rashid Al-Abayji, the second batch of relief supplies was prepared, which includes food baskets and a number of other materials to support the Lebanese people." He added that "the number of food baskets amounted to more than (12) thousand baskets, and each basket contains (14) food items, in addition to health supplies, blankets and mattresses, noting that "the department's staff continues to work at a high pace to complete all the tasks assigned to them in the service of humanity and what the Lebanese people are going through."
