Istanbul, Hundreds of Turks organized today, a protest in front of the US Consulate General in Istanbul, denouncing Washington's support for the crimes committed by the Israeli army against the Palestinian people in Gaza. The protesters stressed in their chants that the United States is a partner in the crimes of the Israeli army through the weapons, equipment and political support provided by Washington in international forums, which pushed this entity to commit more massacres that targeted children, women and the elderly and encouraged it to flout the resolutions of the UN Security Council. The Turkish protesters, who were carrying Palestinian flags and pictures of the bodies of Gaza children, expressed their absolute solidarity with the struggle of the Palestinian people and their commitment to continue supporting the Palestinian cause and establishing an independent Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital. In their stance, they also called on the Islamic world to take a unified position that am ounts to confrontation with the Zionist enemy to force it to submit to the will of the international community for a ceasefire, complete withdrawal from the Gaza Strip, and lifting the siege on its people.
