The Yemeni Houthi group announced today, Thursday, that it has targeted /145/ ships linked to Israel, the United States and Britain, since the start of its operations supporting Gaza in November of last year. The group's leader, Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, said in a televised speech today: "The number of ships targeted (by his forces) has reached 145 ships linked to the Israeli enemy, the American and the British since last November." He added: His forces carried out 11 operations against ships heading to Israel during the current week with 31 ballistic and winged missiles, a drone, and a warship, and that these operations come within the framework of the fourth phase of the escalation, which is ongoing and effective and is moving towards what is greater, without further details. It is noteworthy that the first phase of the Houthi military escalation by targeting sites in southern Israel with missiles and drones began last October before the group moved to the second phase last November by targeting ships belon ging to or linked to Israel. At the beginning of this year, the third phase began, which was represented by targeting American and British ships in the Red Sea and the Arabian Sea, before the Yemeni group announced on May 3 the start of implementing a fourth phase of escalation in its attacks in solidarity with Gaza.
