Amman: The Arabian Peninsula's hot air mass is still affecting the Kingdom. The temperature will be high throughout, with extreme heat in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily update. Winds will be northwesterly moderate, picking up at times. The JMD urges caution due to the high temperatures, which increase the risk of fires breaking out in forested areas, and warns against leaving children inside closed vehicles. It also highlights the dangers of direct sunlight exposure, particularly in the desert, Jordan Valley, Dead Sea, and Aqaba. Temperatures in the capital Amman will range between a high of 34 degrees Celsius and a low of 22 degrees. Highs in the port city of Aqaba will reach 44 degrees during the day, sliding to 27 degrees at night. Source: Jordan News Agency
