Hodeida Customs and Control Office destroyed on Monday a quantity of smuggled medicines that were expired and unusable. The Director General of the Office, Ali Al-Shaoubi, explained to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) that the destroyed quantity was seized by the Office's representative at the Bajil security point, indicating that the destruction process was carried out in the presence of relevant authorities representatives and in accordance with the applicable laws. He stressed that the Center will not be lax in seizing various expired, prohibited and unauthorized goods entering the country in the interests of the nation , the health and safety of citizens.
