Hodeida Commerce Chamber and Industry and the private sector condemned, in the strongest terms, the Zionist aggression's targeting Hodeida Port. A statement issued by the Chamber and the private sector explained that Hodeida port is a vital civil and economic facility concerned with providing humanitarian , commercial services and supplying the Yemeni people with their food, medicine, and other supplies. It stressed that directly targeting the fuel tanks in the port with a series of air strikes, resulting in 6 deaths and 83 injured workers, will increase the suffering of the Yemenis, who have been subjected to aggression and siege for more than ten years. It pointed out that the blatant and unjustified aggression against the port targets the national capital, 'merchants', including goods and containers. It also represents a clear violation of international humanitarian law and an extension of what our country is exposed to in terms of a military war , economic and security aggression that has been going on for more than nine years to restrict the Yemeni people and the Nile from the steadfastness and stability of his principled position with the just cause of the Palestinians. The statement held the international community, the Security Council, and the Zionist entity fully responsible for the damage to the port's infrastructure and the humanitarian repercussions that would result from that aggression.
