The national counter-cancer institution (NCCI) in Hodeida on Thursday organized the fifth 'Happy Childhood' carnival in the occasion of the International Childhood Cancer Day (ICCD). Everyone needs to unite efforts to cure cancer patients and provide the NCCI with urgent support to perform its duties properly, Hodeida deputy governor for services said in the carnival. Hodeida sees an increase in cancer cases, Mohamed Holaisi added, blaming the banned arms used by "aggressive countries". This carnival aims to mobilize efforts to fight cancer, NCCI director, Mohamed al-Moraish, said, with new cases registered yearly.
