RAMALLAH, There are extreme shortages in medical supplies and services in the Gaza Strip's hospitals and clinics, said Health Authorities on Tuesday. In a press statement, the authorities indicated that the lack of medicine, staff, and care threatened the lives of patients throughout the strip including 1,000 dialysis patients most of them were children. The authorities called on the international community and organizations across the globe to swiftly intervene to provide much needed medical care and medicine to save lives. Since October 7, 2023, the Israeli occupation had been on a brutal military campaign against Gaza, which included unfathomable measures such as closing the Rafah Crossing with Egypt last May, leading to a severe shortage in humanitarian and medical supplies.
