Higher education extends registration to compete for free university seats until next June 11

The Free Seats Committee at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research announced the extension of the registration period for differentiation and competition for free seats in public and private universities until Tuesday, the fifth of Dhul-Hijjah 1445 AH, corresponding to next June 11, as the last date for applying through the electronic portal. The committee explained in a statement, a copy of which was received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), that the extension comes out of the committee's keenness to provide the opportunity for students who were unable to register in the electronic portal for free seats. The committee called on male and female students wishing to compete for free seats for the academic year 1446 AH, to register properly within the specified period, obtain a portfolio number, and pay the fees in order to take the proficiency exams, the date of which will be announced after the Eid Al-Adha holiday.
