The Lebanese Hezbollah denied what it described as "Israeli allegations" regarding the existence of weapons stores in civilian buildings targeted by Israeli raids that hit several locations in the southern suburb of Beirut, in the early hours of Saturday morning. The party said, according to a message distributed by its media office: "There is no truth to the false allegations of the Zionist enemy about the existence of weapons or weapons stores in the civilian buildings that it targeted with bombing in the southern suburb." The Israeli army announced carrying out strikes early Saturday morning, targeting Hezbollah weapons stores under residential buildings in the southern suburb of the Lebanese capital.
