The Lebanese "Hezbollah" announced today, Saturday, launching an attack with "Fadi 1" missiles on the Israeli settlement of Kabri, and targeting the Ramat David base and airport with "Fadi 3" missiles. Hezbollah's statement read: "In support of our steadfast Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and in support of their valiant and honorable resistance, and in defense of Lebanon and its people, and in response to the barbaric Israeli violation of cities, villages and civilians, the Mujahideen of the Islamic Resistance bombed the Kabri settlement with a salvo of Fadi 1 missiles on Saturday, and the Ramat David base and airport were also targeted with a salvo of Fadi 3 missiles." Western media reported successive rocket salvoes towards northern Israel and the sound of sirens in dozens of settlements. It was reported that sirens sounded in the Western Galilee, Central Galilee, East Tel Aviv, the coastal region, the Jezreel Valley, Wadi Ara south of Haifa, the city of Acre, the northern West Bank, and the Carmel region. The confrontation between Israel and Hezbollah entered a new phase after Israeli army aircraft launched intensive raids since dawn on Monday on various areas in Lebanon, which were met with operations by Hezbollah. Thousands of Lebanese fled the south towards Beirut and the north, and the Lebanese government announced the opening of schools to house the displaced. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu vowed to carry out more attacks and expand military operations in Lebanon, stressing that what Israel is doing is "changing the balance of power."
