Head of the Turkish Religious Affairs Calls for Unification of Islamic World to Stop Occupation Crimes

Head Turkish Religious Affairs Ali Erbas called for unity of the Islamic world to stop the Israeli massacres against Palestinian children and innocents in the Gaza Strip. Erbas's call came during a speech he delivered at the launch of the 9th Conference of Ministers of Endowments and Islamic Affairs in the city of Mecca in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, where he pointed out that Israel is committing genocide and great injustices in Palestine, hoping to God to establish security and safety in the entire world, especially for the Palestinian people. He added: "I pray to God that all Muslims unite their forces to stop the occupying Zionists from slaughtering Palestinian children and innocents in Gaza, and that we strive to establish an independent Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital." Today, Sunday, the activities of the Ninth Conference of Ministers of Endowments and Islamic Affairs in the Islamic World, organized by the Saudi Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance, began, with the par ticipation of ministers, muftis, heads of councils, associations and Islamic institutions from 60 countries in Mecca, according to what was reported by the Saudi Press Agency.
